Video Editor for New, Socially Conscious Film HouseBookmark This
DescriptionRealize Artists Dreams (RAD) Production, a new, unique and socially conscious film house and artist collective, seeks an editor for numerous projects designed to promote the upcoming films, up and coming artists and Internet campaigns. We have a host of fantastic material, shot in top quality, to delve into and wrap a bow tie around.
RAD believes that entertainment should be a driving force for the enhancement of society and a group of young, artist-entrepreneurs have come together to build a studio that will make it happen. They deserve a platform from which to grow their talents and show them to the world. We help you do that.
You can work from home or in our office at the W Hollywood. We are a start-up, so no one is getting paid at this time. However, we are building towards ever bigger projects, and for those who stick around, work hard, and share their talent there will be a reward at the end of the rainbow.
ResponsibilitiesOn a day to day basis, you will be crafting our posters, DVD covers and PR pieces, preparing presentational video to get products seen and sold, and doing other retouching, editing and creating. We want to see what you've got.
There may be additional production and business work as needs change and film shoots arise. However, we can get our own coffee. Our interns get real responsibility, a pathway to membership in our exclusive collective, and an avenue from which to build their careers.
RequirementsDo you have passion, talent, and integrity? You might be just the person to put the cherry on top of this sundae.
You must have your own computer with the appropriate software. Final Cut Pro is preferred but other editing programs will suffice as long as you are skilled with them. For graphics, a deep knowledge of one or more programs is absolutely necessary. Our PR pieces must be top notch. We don't mind which program you use, as long as you can craft cool, sharp, professional looking material.
You must be a team-player, organized, and respectful of others. You must be a person of your word. You must have compassion and love for what you do.
