DescriptionOpportunity to work for an international nonprofit in the Washington D.C. area with a mission to build models of multisector collaboration to realize sustainable peace and development. GPF has service projects around the world including Kenya, Malaysia, Paraguay,Nepal, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Projects address areas of environment, character education, interfaith collaboration, community-development, and other areas.
As an intern you will have the opportunity to create and edit short videos. Some videos include those about our international projects, conferences, interviews, introduction videos. You will work closely with the Communications Specialist that also creates videos.
Position can include flexible hours (minimal 12 hours/week) at our Lanham office and/or remote location.

ResponsibilitiesCreate and edit short videos
This includes editing clips, finding music and photo selections, creating titles, and so forth.
Some videos include those about our international projects, conferences, interviews, introduction videos.
Work closely with the Communications Specialist that also creates videos.
RequirementsExperience with Premiere Pro
Experience with After Effects a plus
Undergraduate, Graduate student, or volunteer with concentration in film-making a plus.
Creativity and willingness to experiment
Strong project management skills, attention to detail
