Description

Complex Media is looking for an extremely organized and talented Video Production intern to join the Daily News team this semester. Complex Media is the leading provider of style, entertainment, lifestyle and product content dedicated to emerging trends for young male tastemakers. The company, launched in 2002 with Complex magazine, has expanded to include our flagship website Complex.com, which attracts more than 12 million unique monthly visitors.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with the Complex News team and get the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of News production in a real world environment; learn the relationships between the editorial/video departments and what it takes to apply their skill sets in the work place. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, a strong portfolio demonstrating their editing and camera knowledge, with an amazing sense of humor. You must be deadline oriented, hard working, and have a full knowledge of the entire Adobe Creative Suite.

Requirements

We will only consider candidates currently enrolled in a university/college, preferably majoring in video production or related field. You need to have strong editing skills and be up to date with emerging trends. Interns must be available to dedicate at least 2-3 days (up to 30 hours) per week from January– May, with the possibility of continuing the internship if so desired. Interns will be expected to assist the Editors and Directors with general production related tasks.
