Description

Paradox (Jared Leto/ Emma Ludbrook) is looking for a production and development intern. Production and development interns are exposed to several aspects of the film development process while providing assistance to development executives and their teams.

Responsibilities

Reads books and screenplays, giving verbal or written feedback

Responsible for copying scripts and processing script and coverage requests.

Maintain list of available writers, directors and actors and compiles into database.

Make daily updates to production databases

Perform administrative duties as assigned.

Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

Pursuit of a college degree in Film, Communications, English or related major required.

Some experience in the entertainment field preferred.

Knowledge of theatrical film development process a plus

Ability to communicate effectively with members of the creative community.

Ability to research and coordinate various projects, and identify resources.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone.

Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.

Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.

Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.

Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a high pressured environment.

Must have the ability to work well in conjunction with others.
