The well rounded experience as an intern with A New Take Studios will offer Interns to have an opportunity to gain on set production experience as well as in office production experience which will solidify a well-rounded resume of experience suitable for entry level position or transitioning positions in the film and TV industry. Our internships will expose you to industry professionals and promote both your personal and career development.

A New Take Studios is a boutique media production company based in Brooklyn, NY, engaged in creating motion picture, television and video projects. We have a fun and ambitious staff with experiences in all areas of the industry.


• Logging interviews and other clips
• Backing-up media to designated storage drives
• Transcribing dialogue from any audio or video with time codes for each change in speaker
• Editing short promo clips for web and social media sites


Final Cut Pro X version 10.2.2 and at least 4TB of hard drive space.

An interest in LGBT subject matters
Passion to excel and succeed in the film and TV industry
Interest in action thriller crime dramas similar to Law and Order and HBO’s The Wire
Desire and drive learn about the film industry and wear many hats

Responsible and able to work with well within team settings and have a productive work ethic in order to handle assignments and complete assignments on time.

Ability to learn quickly and think on your feet

Well-rounded time management and communication skills

All interns must work at least between 8-20 hours a week and will be working under close supervision with the staff while being a leader in various task components.

Intern will sign Agreements regarding the criteria and tenure of and responsibility of role and understanding of the nature of the non-paid internship.

We require a resume, and cover letter. You will be asked for a letter of recommendation, your transcript and a writing sample. All internships are for college credit. Therefore we require a letter indicating certification of college academic credit.
