DescriptionGeneral Overview: We looking for interns passionate about filming live music performances and creating music videos. We have created a cutting-edge LED Tech-Art costume and stage show for the musical/EDM artist Hyper Harp, www.hyperharp.com. This includes light suits, light helmets, 15 foot puppet-like light wings, hand midi-controllers, and more eye-catching and interactive components. As an intern, you would assist in all aspects of shooting video and editing for live performances, creating music videos, and helping to establish a live-streaming "station".
You will learn about the approaches to capture LED oriented subject matter and creative approaches to present via YouTube and other channels of distribution. You will be involved with both studio and on-location settings. Your creativity is most welcomed when it comes to developing different approaches for the various applications.
You will work out of our studio on Huron and Halsted, or local locations. Hours are flexible, including evenings and weekends. We strive to accommodate the best schedule for you. This is a year-round open internship, available for you to jump in anytime you are ready.
Compensation: While this internship is listed as unpaid, we do want to compensate those hard-working interns through revenue share, future paid contract work, post-paid comp, or even design royalty. Details will be discussed during your first interview.
