DescriptionNowadays, it is not uncommon to see a group of friends sitting together all looking down at their phones. But, are you THAT friend who shows everyone the latest Snap, newest YouTube star, or brings up those “10 ways to improve” article? If this sounds like you, come share that cat singing opera YouTube video with CV Sciences. The Media Coordinator will be working with the Marketing Department to generate content to keep those “scroll-a-holics” double tapping all day. Further, we are looking for someone who has that video/film prowess to help us create videos to keep our customers engaged with our growing brands.
We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic, detail-oriented Marketing Programs Coordinator to join the CV Sciences team in San Diego. You'll join a team of creative, forward thinking, and passionate people who are pioneering the burgeoning growth of the hemp industry. The Media Coordinator ern plays an important role in supporting CV Sciences’ Marketing Department Media & Social Media initiatives. This qualified candidate will assist the Director of Marketing with a number of crucial tasks contributing to the overall mission of CV Sciences.
Responsibilities*Collaborate with the Marketing team to curate relevant content and schedule social media posts based on each platform and target market
*Monitor, listen, and respond to users on all social media platforms while maintaining brand voice and authenticity
*Work closely with the Director of Marketing to create engaging videos to enhance the awareness of CV Sciences marketing and educational efforts in the field
*Develop and grow brand awareness, generate inbound traffic to company website, and cultivate leads for Sales staff
*Stay abreast of relevant articles, blog posts, media that contribute to the industries/markets we target; make comments, provide notes for future social media/blog posts
*Collect and analyze data on market trends, competitive landscape, industry evolution to contribute to overall *Marketing Department strategic efforts
*Travel may be required up to 25% of the time
*Administrative duties as assigned by Marketing team
*Public Relations & Media program support
Requirements*Proficiency with Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Gmail for Mac
*A data oriented individual, able to create spreadsheets and usable data to analyze social media success and needs for improvement
*Advanced knowledge of social media channels – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Reddit, etc.
*Videography, photography experience - with post-production knowhow to make creative, engaging content
*Have an understanding of or willingness to learn the company and industry’s philosophy
*Ability to establish professional working relationships and interact effectively with coworkers and clientele
*Demonstrate integrity, sound judgment, diplomacy, resourcefulness, with a strong work ethic
*Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and strong knowledge of grammar; experience proofreading and editing
*Positive, 'can do' attitude; no job is too big or too small. Self-starter, solutions oriented with good instincts
*Exhibit enthusiasm to increase responsibilities while maintaining a workload of diverse tasks; meeting deadlines when required
*Must be able to contribute individually with little supervision
*Must have a professional demeanor and dress accordingly
*Past experience is a plus
