Unity Healing Arts is locally owned and operated massage therapy studio 1 mile from downtown Asheville. UHA strives to provide a superior level of complete customer care to the clients who choose us for their massage therapy. We aim to provide a higher level of therapeutic care to our clients than our competitors by employing a small team of highly advanced trained therapists. We also provide our therapists with the freedom and compensation that they need continue to grow and thrive as therapists. Our clients benefit from our skilled staff, our nurturing environment, easily accessible and historic location off of Montford Ave, and of course our attention to excellence in customer service.
WHAT WE DO
Unity Healing Arts offers a wide range of massage and bodywork treatments. Our therapists are highly trained and can offer a wide range of modalities in their sessions. We provide Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stone Therapy, Sports Massage, Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Reflexology and more.
Unity Healing Arts provides internship opportunities to people of all levels and disciplines. We look for 10 hours+ a month for 12 weeks of commitment. More is always welcome. This is an unpaid position with opportunities to receive massage and bodywork as a token of our gratitude. We are happy to barter up to $140 a month, which is the cost of one of our 90 minute speciality massages.

ResponsibilitiesThe goal will be to produce 1 to 2 short videos ( 60 seconds to 3 minutes) a month that will be used on our website, blogs, newsletters, and social media platforms to share more about the work that we do, how massage can help with particular health conditions, and many other topics related to health and well-being.
There is lots of room for creativity in this work. The more creative the videos are the better off we will be. We will be open to your ideas ranging from topics and techniques for capturing the message as well as our audience's attention.
RequirementsYou have excellent communication skills

You have a refined eye for detail and a job well-done
You are good at finding creative solutions and have an enthusiastic attitude
You must have some of the technology and resources available to you in order to shoot quality video with quality audio, and also perform video editing.
