DescriptionWe are looking for writers (no experience necessary) to create short Excel or VBA tutorials for our website. This is a part-time, work from home opportunity.
About Us: Our website is a free training resource for Excel & VBA. The site has been around for over 10 years, but hasn't been updated since 2008. In the past, the website was very reputable and had 100k+ visitors per month. We want to bring the site up to date and reach more people with our free resources.
Details: We will provide a list of topics ranging from the very basics of Excel (using the ribbon) to intermediate tools (Pivot Tables), up to coding with VBA. You can select which topic(s) that you want to write about. We will provide guidance as to the format and specific content of the posts. If you don't have any experience with Excel you can focus on the very basics.
All of the content you produce will be made freely available on our website for anyone to access.
What you get: Your author bio (name, brief description, picture, linkedin profile link, etc.) will be included at the bottom of every article that you write. Additionally...
For 2 articles - You'll receive a copy of one of our partner's kickass Excel training ($129 value)
For 5 Articles - We will create an Author Bio page for you: http://example.com/authors/yourname . You can link to this Author Bio page in a resume or on your Linkedin profile
For 20 Articles - We will list you as a contributor on our "Authors" page and include your bio. The "Authors" page will be linked to from our home page.
*We may change the milestones above slightly. Longer or more technically advanced (ex. VBA) articles will carry more weight.
This is a fantastic way to demonstrate knowledge of Excel to future employers and would look very nice on a resume.
