Chicago Scene's followers are educated, upscale, urban-dwelling Chicagoans that are highly socially active, "cultural explorers" aged 25-49 years old.

Responsibilities

- Able to analyze new business opportunities
- Understands Financial/Accounting terms and concepts
- Performs cost/benefit and ROI analysis
- Helps in the preparation of budgeting activities and management reviews
- Ability to perform tasks on time and performs well under those time constraints
- Working knowledge of Google programs and web applications

Requirements

-Spring/Fall 2016 graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

We are offering you an internship that will strengthen your experience in the business world by providing an opportunity for you to brainstorm with executives, work with senior management and shadow other jobs at Chicago Scene DMC. This is a unique internship opportunity that involves you to help a startup company grow into something highly successful.
You will be part of a 5 intern team tasked with startup and growth of a wholly owned subsidiary of the city’s most well known nightlife and entertainment publication and large scale event producer. You will be lead by the company’s owner and managing partner in the creation of this subsidiary and will learn all of the finer points of creating a business from nothing more than an idea.
