Internship Summary:
Paid internship with small company (45 employees). Hands‐on learning starts day one in this fast paced
environment. Obtaining course credit may also be possible, depending on the student’s program approval.
Hours will be flexible based on school schedule. Term of internship is 1 semester. Potential for extensions and
full time employment exist. Apply at any time as we are continually interviewing for upcoming semesters.


Duties and Responsibilities:
The internship will provide exposure to the inner‐workings of an investment firm, specifically the institutional
investment management and retirement plan consulting division. There are frequent opportunities to work
alongside firm partners, and all members of the institutional team. The intern will also become familiar with
industry relevant software, such as SalesForce and Black Diamond. Other duties include:
 Assist in preparing deliverables for quarterly client meetings
 Prepare for and attend 10‐20 client meetings per quarter
 Present elements of report in meetings and explain significance and relevance to client
 Assist in drafting minutes for client meetings, and preparing post meeting deliverables
 Interact with partners and firm staff who have many years in the industry
 Assist on special projects (internal projects/client specific)
 Accept and apply coaching and feedback
 Support the client services and administrative teams as needed/requested


 All School of Business Undergraduate Majors ‐ Junior or Senior
 Passionate about helping others and wanting to work with clients on a personal level
 High‐level Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
 Excellent communication and writing skills
 Organized, detail‐oriented and able to multitask with proven ability to plan and achieve results
 Demonstrate highest personal ethics and integrity
 Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of information
 Acceptable result on background and drug test
 Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others
 Desire and ability to work in a small company environment
