DescriptionM&A analysts play a meaningful role in our M&A transaction process. M&A analysts prepare and review financial models, presentations and assist in identifying new buyside business opportunities.
Candidates should have the ability to handle offsite assignments and possess strong presentation and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and within a team with little or no supervision.
Analysts should possess the following characteristics:
- Comprehensive understanding and application of valuation methodologies and financial statement analysis.
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
- Excellent at drafting presentations
- Able to assist in identifying potential business opportunities
**CFA/CPA designation - PLUS
**Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, English, Finance or Accounting - PLUS
NOTE: This a great learning opportunity for those seeking a career in private equity, finance, investment banking, and corporate development. This is EXACTLY the kind of work you will be doing at any of these industries in your first/second year of employment - for at least 8-10 hours a day. This opportunity will prepare you for this and much more (fast track to VP status).
