Internship Description: The internship program at Northwestern Mutual is a top 10 internship that strives to make a lasting, positive impact on our intern’s lives. We want to give each individual the opportunity to create and develop their own business while helping them gain experience. College Financial Representatives with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network have the same opportunities to build their careers as Full-Time representatives. Supported by our network of specialists, training programs and mentoring opportunities, College Financial Representatives have access to the resources, products and assistance they need to help their clients and build their practices.
ResponsibilitiesJob Duties: Meet With Clients - set up appointments with clients to conduct extensive fact-finding of their current financial situation. Analyze the Client's Situation - Uncover long-term goals to help determine client’s needs. Make Recommendations - Determine what products can help fill their needs and present appropriate solutions to client. Provide Ongoing Service - Continue to work with clients beyond the close of the sale.
