DescriptionMarijuana Advocates United, a D.C. based Political Action Committee has partnered with Arkansans For Compassionate Care to help bring the 2016 Arkansas Medical Cannabis Act to the ballot.
We have 10 positions available for Field Organizers across the state of Arkansas. This will include:
Coalition building among Marijuana friendly businesses and registered voters
Recruiting and organizing field operatives to work under your campaign efforts
Designing, experimenting, and implementing your own creative strategies to advance the campaign
Plan and organize your Field Operatives to canvass target market neighborhoods
This will require 5-8 hours a week (average of 5). We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping get the Medical Cannabis Act on the ballot in Arkansas. Key qualities we are looking for are leadership, responsibility, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
It is important to note that the Field Organizer will be overseeing a team of Field Operatives, so past leadership experience should be emphasized during the phone interview.
This is an unpaid internship position. However, letters of recommendations/performance and lifelong references will be provided upon the completion of the internship.
We will continue to bring on Field Organizers until our 10 positions are filled. Email a brief cover letter and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org
