DescriptionNational Security investigative agency has four national security cyber counter-terrorism analyst intern positions available for Spring 2017. Intern MUST meet strict criteria listed below. Interns who complete our internship programs are provided recommendation letters and provided possible options for employment with our partnering private and government agencies. PROOF OF US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED.
ResponsibilitiesForensics and wide scope geopolitical cyber intelligence analysis, counter-espionage and cyber fraud as it relates to money laundering, racketeering and terrorism-financed groups. This internship will require approximately 20 hours per week throughout the internship. In addition to academic credit, 100 continuing education units (CEU's) will be provided to an intern that wishes to pick up the forensics cyber crime component. This is a virtual internship related to cyber crime. You can live anywhere (including overseas) as long as you are a currently enrolled US student college agrees that you can receive the credits. Please note this is an UNPAID internship but an excellent thrust into industry jobs with top of the line cutting edge technology skills provided. PROOF OF US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED.
RequirementsMust be a currently enrolled GRADUATE or UNDERGRADUATE student in a US accredited university or college. College major must be relevant to Homeland Security, Military Studies, Law Enforcement, Cyber crime, forensics or cyber forensic criminology.Must be willing to undergo and pass a wide-scope national security background check. Either 6 or 9 units of college credit is available for this UNPAID internship. College transcripts must be provided showing current enrollment. . Please note that GPA must be a minimum of 3.5/4.0 scale to qualify.
