3DA seeks an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to work within the agency to develop and deploy content marketing programs. You’ll work under our team’s guidance to grow online visibility for our agency and our clients; building valuable content engines that increase website traffic and sales for a wide range of brands. The ideal candidate will be proficient at developing and editing content that includes blog articles, original website content, client offers, as well as social media campaigns. Additionally, there will be graphic design tasks, as assigned.
In addition, the Content Marketing Intern may also be tasked with identifying and generating new blog article ideas for both the company as well as clients. The Content Marketing Intern should also have a basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and social media and how to optimize content for each. The Content Marketing Intern should have a strong willingness to learn about the overall importance of effective marketing content for a successful marketing campaign.
ResponsibilitiesGenerate original, compelling and SEO-friendly content for client blogs as well as websites
Participate in the generation of new content ideas as it relates to blogs, client offers, and website content
Work with the Online Marketing Intern to promote company and client content through the various social media platforms
Participate in the managing of posting/scheduling blog articles for clients
Development and maintenance of content calendars
Research, writing and editing entries to the agency’s official blog
Helping to create high-value content assets such as webinars, infographics, shareable presentations and white papers for 3DA and our clients.
Assisting with agency and client brand email marketing efforts
Press Release Creation and Distribution
Graphic design tasks as needed
RequirementsSome college required
English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or other related writing/editing major highly preferred
Strong copywriting, graphic design, and copyediting skills
Independent work ethic
Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with changing priorities and prioritize multiple tasks
Strong time management skills
Computer skills must include use of the Microsoft Office Suite, Keynote/PowerPoint, WordPress, and Google Analytics, as well as be fluent and responsive with email and social media networks
Some graphic design skills required
This position requires access to a personal laptop. Software will be provided. Intern will be required to work at least 16 hours per week and attend a weekly team meeting on Friday mornings.
