Graphic Designer Job Description:
We are looking to hire an extremely talented Graphic Designer with experience in both print and web. Ideal candidate possesses an exceptional work ethic and a solid passion for what they do; and will have the ability to take a project from a highly creative and unique concept to design and completion. Must have a strong knowledge in print design and strategic concept development skill.
Having Fashion Design experience is a major plus.
Responsibilities-Must be able to learn quickly and have the ability to handle a diverse workload
-Experience working as a core member of a team and hitting tight deadlines
-Strong project management and organizational skills
-Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
-Ability to work well under pressure
-Must be a team player, be self-motivated, encouraging and motivational to others
-Support the overall creative needs of the Marketing / Creative Department
-Ability to take projects from concept to multiple design options
-Ongoing commitment to growing and changing with the company and the industry both professionally and personally
-Coordinate the process, from project conception, release of artwork through approval of proofs from vendors.
Requirements-Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Graphic Design or related experience.
-Fluency in CS5 (Photoshop/ Illustrator/ InDesign)
-Marketing, Advertising, or Design Experience (2-3 years)
-Must possess well-developed page layout and creative design skills for print and web including static and rich media -banner ads, microsites, brochures, marketing flyers, direct mail, HTML e-mails, and digital / print advertisements.
-Ability to understand branding requirements and effectively incorporate them into the final design
-Fluency in Flash and/or video editing a plus.
-Fluency in Prezi design a plus
-Development or motion graphics skills a plus.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to work under tight deadlines
-Ability to be playful, fun and entertain all ideas without judgment or preconceived ideas.
-Passion and interest in working in a small, start-up organization that has large influence in the music culture and social gaming
-Professional understanding of marketing practices.
