DescriptionThe Simon Wiesenthal Center is a global Jewish human rights organization that confronts anti-Semitism, hate and terrorism, promotes human rights and dignity, stands with Israel, defends the safety of Jews worldwide, and teaches the lessons of the Holocaust for future generations. With a constituency of over 400,000 households in the United States, it is accredited as an NGO at international organizations including the United Nations, UNESCO, OSCE, Organization of American States (OAS), the Latin American Parliament (PARLATINO) and the Council of Europe.
The Simon Wiesenthal Center is seeking enthusiastic candidates for our internship program. We encourage applications from individuals who are passionate about promoting universal tolerance and human rights and who are interested in learning how non-profit organizations operate.
Graphic design interns will work closely with the Development Associate on various event flyers, invitations and PR Kit components. Interns will gain hands-on experience and will gain an understanding of how a small non-profit office functions. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to participate in the Simon Wiesenthal Center and Museum of Tolerance New York’s semester-long Leadership Workshop Series on a monthly basis.
