The Bridging Nations Foundation
1779 Massachusetts Ave NW, Suite 715
DescriptionThe Bridging Nations Foundation is a nonprofit, policy organization based in Washington D.C. that promotes shared prosperity by focusing on bridging people and nations through technological innovation. Established in 2002, the foundation seeks to develop international dialogue through collaboration. We believe that technological innovation, particularly in green energy, will promote economic cooperation and secure the planet for future generations. Currently we are focused on the India-China Center, a foreign policy initiative that looks to improve business and economic relations between two of the largest countries in the world. Our second organization, the College of Energy, Environment & Sustainability, provides online course on green energy for students and working professionals.
Located just several blocks away from the White House, the Bridging Nations interns have the opportunity to develop skills in social media and marketing while also networking with all the people and organizations in the nation's capital.
The Bridging Nations Foundation is seeking web development interns who are eager to write code, maintain the organization's web presence, promote the organization on social media and find unique ways to deliver educational material. The web development intern will pitch creative web strategies and execute them to improve the company's online visibility.
CEES recently launched a new website that needs web developers to update and maintain. Interns will participate in meetings with the CEO, program coordinators and other interns to collaborate on student outreach and marketing projects.
In addition to CEES, Bridging Nations runs the India-China Center (ICC), a policy center stationed in India that advocates for increased diplomatic ties between India and China through stronger political and business relationships. Recently established, ICC requires a web development intern who can make its web presence professional and engaging.
To qualify, interns must have a strong knowledge of HTML/CSS and Adobe Creative Suite.
