The site is completely fluid, fully responsive and fits all types of browser resolutions. It also has a touch-friendly mobile navigation menu. Our homepage welcomes visitors with a clean design for ease of usability.

The user dashboard is populated with information users want —jobs, news, events and training opportunities all customized by job industry specialty/profile. Oilonline users also have the ability to make industry connections (e.g., LinkedIn Contacts, email invites).

New users can join with their LinkedIn credentials, for a quick and streamlined registration process.
Discussion groups and/or Forums are available for members to hold conversations on popular industry topics.
A calendar of networking events and training opportunities is complete with profile pictures of “who’s attending”.

Responsibilities

The internship will involve:
• Develop design briefs by gathering information and data through research
• Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts; using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
• Present finalized ideas and concepts
• Work with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD); proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work; contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
• Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches
• Working on layouts for print and interactive design

Requirements

Creativity: Invent new ideas for branding, advertising campaigns and marketing messages. Understand design and smart copy, and recognize fresh approaches to advertising.

Analytical Skills: Advertising and marketing is ever-evolving, analyze trends, look at new data and keep with the times.

Decision-Making Skills: Advertising campaigns have timelines, make decisions on final copy, final art, finished commercials and radio spots.
