OVERVIEW
Planet Party!, Inc. is headquartered in Salt Lake City, UT, and has a Sales & Marketing Office in Boston.

The company has developed a novel and patented packaging system, upon which it has developed two exciting, consumer frozen beverage brands. Both brands offer products that come in a variety of colors and flavors, and incorporate a glow stick which provides a unique visual attraction.

Brand 1 - “Shuttle Shots™ ” - a ready-to-drink, frozen adult beverage.
Brand 2 - “GlowCicle™ ” - a ready-to-drink, non-alcoholic freeze-pop suitable for all ages.

You will be highly challenged in a dynamic, "think fast / act fast" environment; where you apply your knowledge of Graphic Design to drive brand awareness and generate consumer interest. Most importantly, you will gain exposure to real-life situations that test your Graphic Design acumen, and provide real-world opportunities to apply your classroom learning.

Responsibilities

ACTIVITIES & PROJECT FOCUS

- Website content and images
- Marketing images - lots of photoshop work, and use of animations (looping video and GIFs)
- Assist with content for social & digital media plans on a variety of platforms
- Package design
- Collaborate with marketing team to propose creative uses for graphic design imagery
- Funding- work on most aspects of crowdfunding kickstarter campaign

Requirements

WE ARE SEEKING

One extremely talented graphic design intern to join our team and help us reach the next level in the presentation of our brands. Your focus will be creating different animations - funny GIFs, reaction GIFs, and short looping videos.


ABOUT YOU

Smart, savvy, scrappy, determined, success-driven, creative and plays well with others. Substantial experience with graphic design on a classroom or personal level (prior use on a business level is a major plus).

Strategic (yet tactical) thinker; easily see our big picture marketing strategy and the specific role you play in turning the gears. Assist in creating content to be used on various mediums and aid in carrying our marketing strategies out. As part of our team, you’ll assist in measuring and documenting the impact of social media activities, and then suggest action-steps to increase impact.

Work with Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and SnapChat, Vine, etc... Compile and analyze effectiveness data from Google Analytics, and more.


YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Strong passion for Excellence in Graphic Design
Well-refined writing and communication abilities.
Creative thinker with passion to come up with new and unique visual concepts.
Strong work ethic, insatiable curiosity and desire for learning.
Self-confident and motivated.
Substantial understanding of popular platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram and Tumblr. Awareness and ability to quickly learn fast-evolving platforms like Vine, SnapChat, etc…
Solid skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; extensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, HTML, and Adobe Suite.
Able to perform well under pressure; very dependable, punctual, and accountable.
