DescriptionAn established ecommerce company is on the hunt for a driven, talented and eager graphic design intern. We are a young and rapidly growing ecommerce company managing several category-leading online catalogs, specializing in anatomical models, healthcare simulation products, and a proprietary Halloween product line. We’ve got no shortage of opportunities for someone looking to dive headfirst into web graphic design, print design, and hands-on project management. And we really mean "hands-on"; this isn't a "go get my coffee" kind of internship. You will be a contributing member of our team, and work closely with our Marketing Department, but with freedom and autonomy.
This is a killer opportunity for someone looking to get right into the heart of how ecommerce companies are successful. Our Marketing Department is looking for someone with an appetite to learn, but that brings existing knowledge and immense drive to the table. It’s a fast paced, deadline-oriented working environment requiring focus, multi-tasking and a genuine “get it done” attitude.
The internship opportunity is an average of 20 hours per week. This is an unpaid internship, but school credit can be provided. You will gain first-hand experience with the general pace of Online Marketing and Graphic Design. Experience is a must-have for anyone serious about job placement post-grad, and this will be a perfect opportunity to build and expand your portfolio. If the fit is right for both parties, a post-internship employment opportunity is available within the Marketing Department.
Office is located in Evanston, near the Davis Metra and CTA stops. After the initial training period, there may be an option to frequently work from home during the internship, and potential employment after the internship ends.
