Proverb, a brand strategy and design firm in Boston, was founded in 1997. Our mission is to develop cohesive brand and product experiences for our clients. With a focus on establishing new markets and disrupting old ones, our work takes a long-term strategic approach to developing and enhancing our clients’ business, with teams spanning brand & market strategy, identity & naming, interactive design, environmental design and communications design.

Proverb is now accepting applications for our fall semester design internship position. We are an efficient, dynamic, and accomplished team looking for unforged talent. You must be smart, capable, willing to receive in-depth feedback, and, above all, curious about anything and everything.

Requirements

Applicants must be graphic design majors in their 3rd or 4th year (or MFA/Post-Bac students) and eligible to receive course credit.

Duties include:

Image searching & editing

Digital / Print design

Brand extension

Web design support

Not making coffee runs

Requirements:

Willingness to learn

Ability to take direction

Detail-oriented

Strong written and verbal communication

Exceptional organization and time management skills

Multi-tasking capabilities

Solid working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

Knowledge of web/interactive design and usability

Relentless curiosity, about everything from art history to how much bacon is too much bacon
