The Adrenal Foundation Inc is a recognized 501 c 3 global nonprofit philanthropy organization is looking for a graphic web design intern to work on our Marketing Design team. We are a company that believes in creativity and big ideas. And we know that great design is the heart and soul of a great brand. We are looking for people who see the world differently to join our team and do innovative design work for our upcoming magazine. The work demands creative flair up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time costs and deadlines. We are looking for a creative graphic design intern to join our marketing art department. This is a great opportunity to gain real experience in the publishing industry. Responsibilities will include designing in-book pages magazine mock-ups for marketing promotional collateral invitations for events and much more. We are looking for someone who is organized and able to work well in a very fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

- Assists in the design and development of layouts for marketing materials using appealing graphics that are well organized - Responsible to incorporate current design trends into each unique layout to produce an up-to-date style for custom ads - Ability to exercise good judgment when interpreting instructions and to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions - Utilize strong written skills and bring effective visual ideas from concept through to completion - Excellent Typography - Fluency in InDesign and proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator. Powerpoint and Word a plus - Junior or senior level in undergraduate college or graduate school. - Availability to work at least two to three days a week. - Excellent cutting and mounting skills. - HTML CSS and Javascript knowledge and experience is required - Design high end flyers for Social Media Magazings and for Website. - Building 3D images and Videos for advertising. - Design Logos - Updating Social Media pages with new images Responsibilities will also include contributing to the launch of a new website for our upcoming magazine updating content designing website banners and website campaigns. Inter will be involved in developing innovative digital concepts including developing a online TV channel. This is a credited internship.

Requirements

- Working towards a BA or certificate from a Fine Arts program Graphic Design school - Experience with Adobe InDesign and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator - Knowledge of Mac OS and software upgrades and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs - Must be a team player and flourish in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment - Open to constructive criticism and customer feedback - Experience with web development technologies like HTML CSS. Javascript JQuery required - Extensive knowledge of typography layout color sense and the latest design tools including Adobe Fireworks PhotoShop Illustrator InDesign and Aftereffects. - Graphic design and print design experience a huge plus - Understanding of current and emerging digital design conventions and some usability concepts
