DescriptionWe are looking for a talented, ambitious designer with excellent presentation skills, and knowledge of prototype fabrication and manufacturing processes to assist our Tampa based industrial design and fabrication team.
The Industrial Designer will seamlessly integrate with an existing inclusive and highly collaborative creative culture. Our clients award us exciting and challenging projects that require teamwork and pinpoint design and fabrication problem solving. Assignments serve to offer practical experience and broad exposure to the organizational, engineering, and design efforts of a full service product development firm.
This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of industrial graphic design.

Responsibilities Create and iterate concepts for existing products or new product ideas to develop innovative, ergonomic, user-friendly designs that optimize the function, value, and appearance of products and systems.
Create end user verbal descriptions, drawings, models, and working prototypes to demonstrate product potential.
Research design trends and influences, product limitations, and innovations.
Work with engineering, marketing, production, and sales departments to establish and evaluate design concepts.
Perform research on appearance, safety, function, serviceability, production costs/methods, and market characteristics.
