DescriptionTwice Bitten Crossfit is an elite fitness training facility in Oklahoma City. We have strength and conditioning, fat loss, and nutrition programs that help our clients become strong, healthy, and gain confidence both mentally and physically. We mainly provide group fitness class with great emphsis on community. Our community provides a fun and competitive environment for the client. We strive to be completely in tune with each individuals unique goals and values. We approach each client without bias or judgment so we can understand their motivation and help them accomplish their fitness goals.
We are looking for an Coaching and Personal Training intern who has a strong passion for fitness and teaching. We are looking for some one who is serious about changing lives in their community.
Our internship program is 12 Weeks long. The intern will gain valuable knowledge from the leaders of the fitness industry and will gain hands on experience on how to work with clients in group and individual settings. Intern will be given weekly tasks and assignments to accomplish to stimulate personal and professional growth. Intern will develop his/her personal mission statement and goals upon start of the program. Mission will be revised through out the program. Intern will learn strength and conditioning components of our group fitness class and the philosophy behind a solid exercise program. Intern will learn how to properly teach and cue basic lifts and exercises to clients of various skill levels. Intern will learn to conduct mobility and form tests to clients and scale exercises in a safe and efficient manner. Intern will learn how to measure how client's strength and fat loss progress.

The purpose of the internship is to develop an inexperienced trainer into a cutting edge fitness leader who will deliver real results to his/her clients. Upon completion of the program, intern may be offered a full or part time position.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in coaching regularly scheduled classes
Completing weekly assignments
Leading warm ups and stretching
Watching clients closely to ensure proper form
Correcting client's form when necessary
Leading clients through example
Encouraging others to overcome challenges and obstacles
Assist in creating a positive and competitive environment
Cheering, and verbally expressing encouragement to client in a positive and excited manner during workouts
Conduct client weigh in's and measurements
Demonstrating lifts and exercises
Ensuring classes are positive, full of energy, and safe for clients of all levels
Be prompt and on time
RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent
Crossfit Level 1 Certification and other personal training certifications not required but preferred.
