Always be on the alert for potentially fraudulent job postings online - never send money to a potential employer.
DescriptionNew You HQ is a website that is a go-to for all things health, fitness, nutrition, and beauty-related. We are searching for the perfect candidates who have interests/degrees/backgrounds in health and fitness or are in school/have degrees in either English or Journalism.
If you love to write and are passionate about health, fitness, nutrition, and beauty-related topics, we'd love to have you contribute articles to our website. The best way to build up a writing resume is to start writing! This is an unpaid internship, but the writing credibility you will receive as a result is hard to beat. You will have live links to published work after you complete the internship and will have a strong portfolio to show potential employers/clients in the future.
You will be required to contribute a minimum of 3 articles per week. You may take on as many as you want and we will have a large list of articles for you to choose from each week. We are open to you contributing topic ideas as well!
This internship has the possibility to lead to a paid writing position in the future.
ResponsibilitiesWe post similar articles that you would see on Buzzfeed or Elite Daily, format/style-wise. We are a health, fitness, and beauty-focused website and you are able to contribute on any/all of those categories. We will provide the format, examples, and guidance to help you perfect your writing skills.
The great part? You have the ability to contribute a LIMITLESS amount of articles (minimum of 3 required per week) for the website. If you want to write 50 in a week to build up your resume and portfolio, have at it! As long as topics have been approved, you can write away.
RequirementsMust have experience in some way in any or all of the following:
Health and Fitness
Coursework, certifications, writing samples, and/or degrees all suffice for experience.
