DescriptionThe Anytime Fitness® Personal Trainer focuses primarily on helping all members “get to a healthier place” providing an exceptional unique experience to every member.
The PT must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to create and conduct safe and effective exercise for a wide variety of participants. He/she must be fully proficient, comfortable and confident with fitness program design, program instruction, nutritional evaluation and planning, and influencing behavior change. The Personal Trainer main responsibilities are to provide Traditional (1-on-1) Training and Small Group Training. Additional programming opportunities as deemed appropriate by the individual club.
Beyond the traditional roles described, the PT also provides guidance, education, and encouragement and most importantly, develops relationships with all members to improve retention. Trainers are responsible for the general upkeep of the club (equipment and floor cleanliness) and also expected to participate on sales and marketing activities and proactive outreach to inactive members to assist in retention efforts.
ResponsibilitiesKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have a passion for fitness with a commitment to personal fitness goals;
Proven track record of success in fitness, retail, customer service;
Minimum 3 years of experience;
Effective and dynamic leadership skills;
Customer service, staff development, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills;
Able to work during club peak hours which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends.
