Description

Watson Wellness Promotion is a private consulting company which offers training to organizations across the nation. Training subjects include:
• Health education
• Patient-centered care
• Motivational Interviewing
• Victim advocacy
• Violence prevention
• Domestic violence and sexual assault
• Trauma
• Culturally competent care

Watson Wellness Promotion opened in 2012, and has doubled its revenue every year since its initial launch. Clients have included:
• Philadelphia Office of the District Attorney
• Philadelphia’s Mayor’s Office
• Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
• Horizon House Behavioral Health
• The United States National Guard
• Turning Points for Children
• Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
• University of Pennsylvania
• Princeton University
• Harvard University
• Columbia University

Kate Watson is the owner of Watson Wellness Promotion, and she is seeking TWO UNPAID INTERNS to support day-to-day operations of the organization.

Data collection skills
A full performance evaluation upon completing the internship (graduates of the internship program are encouraged to share the performance evaluation with future employers)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Commit to a total of 40 hours (approximately 5 hours per week for 8 weeks)
Communicate professionally
Use company email address for professional use only
Complete orientation training
Locating and organizing scholarly research articles
Creating marketing materials (flyers, postcards, etc.)
Collect contact information of potential future clients
Transcribing interviews and videos

Requirements

Qualifications:
Must be familiar with APA style writing (using in-text citations, creating reference pages, etc.)
Must be currently enrolled in an institute of higher education
