DescriptionAt The Donor SOURCE, we believe that egg donation can be a life-enriching and incredibly fulfilling experience for young women. The journey of donation involves time, dedication, honesty, integrity, reliability and most of all, willingness to help a couple to realize their dream of a child.
Egg donation is a special gift for those couples that cannot become pregnant on their own, from infertility to LGBT couples and individuals that need assistance. There are many causes of female infertility from poor egg quality, to previous cancer patients, to premature menopause, to genetic issues. An egg donor's contribution will greatly increase the chances of couples and individuals being able to achieve a pregnancy. With your selfless act of egg donation, you are giving the hope of a child to our intended parents and we cannot thank you enough!
ResponsibilitiesEgg donors participate in a three-month-long donor cycle once they are selected by intended parents. The first month consists of initial evaluations, the second month is waiting on results and making a plan for the third month - the final month consists of self-injections of fertility hormones to create a group of eggs for the retrieval procedure. We have many families waiting for an egg donor in the Boston area. Parents compensate egg donors generously, starting at $8,000 for first-time egg donors.
