ResponsibilitiesAs a home health aide, responsibilities differ from patient to patient. We serve both pediatric and adults, in their homes, who may be either disabled, chronically ill or cognitively impaired (such as autism or down syndrome). Home health aides primarily help with everyday tasks such as bathing and dressing, helping with ambulation, and engaging children in appropriate play and socialization. HHA's can also provide "off-task" services such as light housekeeping or grocery shopping, although this is not their primary focus.
Home health aides understand that they are providing care for patients like they would their own family member. Giving care to others should not be taken lightly, and we expect our employees to give only their highest level of care and service, no exceptions.
RequirementsMust have a High School Diploma or GED
College students are welcome
Must be caring and independent
Must provide own transportation to and from patient's home
