Description

Job Title: Finance Project Intern

Reports to: Project Manager, Finance Project Management Office

Purpose: To work with the Project Management Office personnel to assist with activities related to designated projects. The projects will require the use of process improvement skills, data analysis, reporting tools, lean six sigma methodologies and change management strategies.

Job Description:
Projects will be financial/operational in nature. Specific projects will be determined at the time of the internship based on current College initiatives at that time along with the intern’s interests.
This internship is designed to provide students the opportunity to enhance their professional development, as well as their understanding of Baylor College of Medicine and its affiliated clinical and academic partners.
Administrative internships expose students to the roles that support the clinical, research, and education missions of the institution. This internship is open to college students and graduate students.

The internship is unpaid and there is a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. BCM will cover the parking expense associated with this internship. This internship is intended for those looking to receive course credit for their experience OR as a requirement of their academic program.
