Hundreds of teenagers from across the United States have been successfully treated at Elk River Treatment Program (ERTP). Our typical patient is age 12 to 18 and presents with a dual diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse. We often treat troubled teens that are experiencing negative behaviors, failing grades, learning differences, attachment disorders, trauma, grief, physical or emotional abuse and addictions from video games to sex to illegal/legal substances. ERTP accepts and treats adolescents that similar programs consider medically fragile and turn away.
