The purpose of the Fitness/Wellness Intern position is to take the learning from the class room and apply it to real life situations. Our interns work within our Personal Training Team and learn how to execute assessments including FMS movement screen, interpret data and create movement based programming. Interns attend all in-house education, attend weekly meetings, learn about entrepreneurship and the field of Personal Training.
The position is great for those interested in learning more about the field of Personal Training.
This is a paid internship and hours are dictated by College requirement.
Requirements• Must be within a 1 hour commute to be eligible
*Pursuing a degree in Exercise Science, Sport Management, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Fitness Management, or related field
• Experience and interest in the fitness/wellness field
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess good organizational skills and be efficient in multitasking
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Ability to work in a dynamic, changing, and diverse environment
Full or part-time student in good academic standing
• Submission of a final portfolio to Job Supervisor and Institution Internship Supervisor
