Description

At Exceltox Laboratories our highly trained clinical staff consists of a board certified Pathologist, multiple Clinical Laboratory Scientists and one industry leading Forensic Toxicologist. Our clinical staff has 60 years of combined experience in the Laboratory field. If your practice needs a reliable and accurate urine drug testing facility, we can help to fill this need for you and your patients. With excellent customer service, a track record of excellence, and state of the art testing equipment, we take pride in delivering the best customer service and accurate results in the industry. We are a CLIA Certified & CAP Accredited Clinical Reference Laboratory. We offer a comprehensive approach to helping you care for your patients every step of the way.

Our services include Urine Drug Testing, Employment Drug Testing and Therapeutic Medication Monitoring.

This position will work directly with our client, Calvert County Substance Abuse Services. They have 3 locations in Southern Maryland; Prince Frederick, Chesapeake Beach and Lusby.


Responsibilities

Greets patients who are scheduled for urinalysis testing.
Conducts male specimen monitoring/collection of oral fluid and urine.
Enters new-client data into program management database.
Maintains cleanliness of the collection area.
Packages and ships all samples collected to our laboratory.
Responsible for ordering supplies used for shipping and collection.
Ensures all test results are provided to the facility.
Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Strictly follows all HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education required.
Exemplary customer service experience including client relationships and job knowledge.
Outstanding attention to detail and ability to complete the job with no errors.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Skill in the use of computers; especially Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience in the field of Criminal Justice or Healthcare is highly desirable.
Experience in the medical field, particularly with updating patient Electronic Medical Records (EMR) would be ideal for this position, but is not required.
Reliable transportation is required.
Proven and verifiable track record of dependability is required.
