The Practicum student must be enrolled in an accredited Social Work or Marriage & Family Therapy Masters Degree program. The Practicum Student must have all paperwork and requirements approved by their school for Field Practicum Placement prior to beginning their role at H.O.P.E. Counseling Services.

The Practicum Student will shadow the agency field instructor and will have supervision and guidance will be on going. The Practicum Student will learn the fundamentals of completing comprehensive mental health assessments, behavioral health assessments, diagnostics, as well as the CAFAS and CASII.

The Practicum Student will be exposed to and learn how to complete daily progress notes, assessments, 90 day progress reports and weekly service log.

Flexible hours preferred; Bi-lingual in Spanish highly recommended.

Responsibilities

Student will learn the fundamentals of providing for the mental well being of the public. The student will learn how to conduct diagnostic evaluations and the application of individual and family therapy.

Requirements

Must be in enrolled in a Master's program in an accredited Social Work or Marriage & Family Therapy Masters Degree
