This is an academic internship that will provide real work experience. Interns are responsible for administrative tasks such as organizing and maintaining client records, entering care manager notes, researching and maintaining resource binders, answering phone calls, and are given special projects as needed. Interns will also have the opportunity to provide socializing for elderly clients, plan enrichment activities for clients, and provide client support as needed. This internship will provide exposure to both healthcare administration, and social services. Doing research for client resources along with reaching out to the community for events.

- Provide customer service helping family members and caregivers
- Understand relationships among healthcare personnel, preferably in clinic setting
- Offer research skills on multiple healthcare issues, resulting in presentation, or informational material
- Must be enrolled in one of the following programs: social service, psychology, sociology or related field.


- 1 year commitment
- Perform well in environment that values compassion, helpfulness, patience, and resourcefulness
