Description

Homestead Hospice is a premier provider of palliative care to support patients and their loved ones during the final phase of a terminal illness. We focus on quality of life rather than a cure. Our purpose is to provide comfort and give support to patients and the families during "life's most important journey. We neither seek to end or prolong life, but to ease the pain and discomfort so that our patients can live the best rest of their lives. We not only provide medical care, but spiritual and emotional support as well. Our Social Workers can provide information and referrals as well as guide families through end of life decisions and aide with counseling services. Our interns will participate in gathering resources for our patients as well as working with our Social Workers and patients.
