DescriptionNational Security Consulting & Investigations PLLC has 4 openings for high school JUNIOR OR SENIOR HONORS students who wish to gain hands on experience in the technology-related/national security/criminal justice fields. We open this opportunity also to home schoolers who can provide standardized test results from 2013 (USA) for scores showing in the top 2% of their grade level. . Students must provide three letters of recommendations from teachers, have permission from parents, and provide proof of community project participation as a volunteer. Students can earn up to 30 units of college credit (at no charge/provided free) in cyber/technology-related courses, and must be willing to provide 10-15 hours per week to participate in the internships. Students must be US citizens, clean juvenile histories and under age 18 at time of application.
1) cyber national security/technology related/focused -- To be provided at time of acceptance
2) criminal justice/homeland security/law enforcement interest -- technology-related social media/cyber related projects
3) Cyber technology related for students interesting in majoring in IT/engineering/software/programming/data base or gaming
RequirementsHigh school HONORS Junior or Senior
Home schoolers -- MUST PROVIDE STANDARDIZED TEST RESULTS SHOWING SKILLS IN TOP 2% of USA
Parents provide permission letter for college credit/enrollment
Three letters of recommendation letters from teachers/community professionals to attest to character and ability
Willingness to learn cutting edge cyber technologies and participate 10-15 hours per week for one semester (3 units of college credit), two semesters (6 units of college credit) or two semesters plus two summer sessions (30 units of college credit).
