ResponsibilitiesThe catering sales manager is responsible for finding new clients for catered events and for those looking for personal chefs; their goal is find those who simply don't have time to prepare meals for themselves or their family. As well as maintain past relationships. As the catering sales manager your job would also be to bring in revenue through corporate events, private parties, personal/private chef services and other events. You may have to attend industry and networking events, including bridal shows, contact potential clients from our leads list, be responsible for email blasts and newsletters, set up our tastings and consultation with potential clients.
Your primary role is to generate revenue for Wishful Concepts Catering and Personal Chef services.
As sales manager you will assume responsibility for set-up and execution of events. Communication with the client as well as the catering team (director of catering, banquet captain, food service staff) is imperative to a successful event.
Ensures that every client or potential client receives outstanding customer service by providing a friendly and positive environment which includes greeting and being personal with each client, not seeing them as dollar signs only but human beings with a need we can fulfill. You must be able to share and show how Wishful Concepts can fulfill their vision and exceed expectations. First impression is important and sometimes we only get one chance in securing and closing a sale and I believe that should be done by being personal.
Maintain outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components that involve great customer service. Set up and attend tasting and consultation with Chef and owner.
RequirementsWe are currently looking for a highly motivated, determined, well spoken and experienced Catering Sales Manager to proudly book their event and or choose Wishful Concepts personal chef services. Must also demonstrate integrity, be approachable and personable. The ideal Catering Sales Manager candidate will have a minimum of two (2) years experience as a Catering Sales Manager with a proven track record of success.
Verbal and written communication, social perceptiveness, persuasion, coordination, critical thinking, service orientation, judgment and decision making, personnel management and good fashion sense.
Knowledge of calendar and scheduling, customer relationship management, knowledge of database and spreadsheet software.
