DescriptionUPDATE: There are 7 positions available, 3 will be at our lodge on the Little Salmon River and 4 at our river operations on the Salmon River in Riggins, Idaho. The interns at the lodge will also help as guides for Mtn, Biking and Hiking. The 4 interns at our river location will be trained as river guides. INTERNS AT LODGE MUST BE 19 YEARS OF AGE.

ResponsibilitiesJob responsibilities to include exposure to some or all of the following:
- marketing and sales promotion including social media platforms
- accounting and finance experience including working with management to understand company financials and how they affect the business
- management - gain experience in managing your own staff, setting schedules, and setting and achieving company goals
inventory management - includes retail, food, and bar inventory
customer service and guest satisfaction - operate a retail store and beer and wine bar including opening/closing of a till, check in/out lodge and rafting guests
office management - manage phones, schedules, training documentation, and IT support
logistical support of rafting operation
long-range decision making and critical on-the-spot operational decisions
-whitewater guide training available as applicable with potential river duties
-miscellaneous housekeeping and grounds maintenance
RequirementsWorking in the beautiful, remote, natural surroundings of the great Idaho wilderness, a summer on the beautiful Salmon River is an incredible adventure.
