Guiding and facilitating “empowering experiences” for leisure zip line tours and other adventures
Leading groups through experience-based team building programs
Learning technical skills of the zip line canopy tour industry
Working in an outdoor setting with a diverse clientele including corporations, non-profit organizations, government agencies, schools, universities, and other community groups

Position Summary

Responsible for assisting the General Manager in ensuring a smooth and efficient zip line operation. This position will experience every facet of the zip line operation on a regular basis. From processing reservations and administrative tasks to customer check-in to adventure guiding – this person will gain valuable customer service experience. The candidate will be someone who is self-starting, energetic and focused who embraces ever increasing responsibility and challenge. The Zip Line OperationsManager position is a valuable role that helps support our mission of delivering extraordinary customer experiences that promote self and team development.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Contribute to a positive, supportive team atmosphere and model a “can do” attitude
Responsible, reliable, punctual and committed to job
Family friendly, pleasant and courteous in all interactions with guests
Able to make risk management decisions
In alignment with Empower Adventures Middleburg mission
Communicates well with co-workers, Zip Line Guide Manager, and General Manager
Safe and responsible use of all Empower gear and equipment

Requirements

Qualifications

Computer skills (PC applications)
Experience working with diverse clientele
Flexible Schedule - weekends included
Must be committed to work entire season (March through November)
Ability to walk, stand, and/or hang in a harness for long periods of time
Able to lift and carry 50lbs. of weight and hike 3 miles per day
Strong self-care skills
Drug Free
