I'm a 25+ year Hospitality Professional who has launched a consulting business and am now looking for someone that wants to learn the ropes of startup sales to the Hotel Industry. Gain quick and priceless training, with exposure to the entire process; sales/business development procedures, account management, appointment setting, etc. I hand-pick my startup clients so we can work with the best teams and products. We're due to bring on 2 new clients within the next 2 weeks and need assistance from you, a person looking to build your resume & skills. Your first priority will be to assist the Founder in setting demo appointments (Founder will conduct) for our clients technologies. It's critical that you have drive, determination a desire to learn along with an entrepreneurial spirit! This is a great position for a College Student following a Business, Business Management, Hospitality Mgmt. tract, . Interest and knowledge in the Startup/Technology industry is ideal.
Training will begin immediately upon contract start and you will need to be ready to start making calls/sending emails by the end of the 1st week. Please provide a copy of your current resume, a bio (or a brief paragraph telling me a little about yourself and why you'd be a good fit). Must have your own computer with good WiFi access and camera. Familiarity with using a CRM (SalesForce, Zoho, Pipedrive, etc.) is critical, but will train. Computer savvy is not just important but essential! Are you someone who downloads the latest app or cloudbased software? Do you follow the latest technologies? Then this is the job for you.
Hours are M-F, 10 hours a week (2 hrs per day) to start. Based upon success, the potential is there to increase hours or move to full time. This is a remote/telecommuting position. This is a 1099 contractor position that will be paid an HOURLY WAGE plus BONUS- paid on a bi-weekly basis.. Based upon success, the potential is there to increase hours or move to full time.

Responsibilities- Provide research on potential and existing hotel clients and contact information
- Keep & maintain detailed notes in a database of 3000+ contacts
- Create & Manage and follow up on digital marketing campaigns & Social Media campaigns
- Assist in identifying potential business opportunities
- Monitor news and developments relating to, or impacting, key clients/prospects
- Prepare periodic reports on screening, tracking, and monitoring clients and prospects
Requirements- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively as a team member
- Ability to communicate at all levels with internal/external clients by phone, email and face to face
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, and Power Point), Social Media Mktg, CRM
- A positive attitude with good organizational, presentation and writing skills
- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree or equivalent education
