ResponsibilitiesGive venue space tours to clients
Contribute to website redesign project in various ways
Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks
Online outreach and promotion using IG, Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more
Website and social media optimization
1) Identify main client groups and audiences and determine the best way to communicate publicity information to them
2) Write interesting and effective press releases, prepare information for media kits and develop and maintain company internet or intranet web pages.
3) Maintain the company's corporate image and identity, which includes the use of logos and signage.
4) Manage communications budgets.
5) Manage special events such as sponsorship of mixers, parties introducing new products, or other activities in order to gain public attention through the media without advertising directly.
RequirementsFollowing Majors of consideration:
***Intern MUST have own vehicle*** Gas Voucher will be given $$ (depending on milage)
Hospitality Management, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, Communications or Web Design
Must know the latest trends for event planning to post on FB, IG, HootSuite, and Twitter *Monetary Bonus$$*
Web design and Photoshop (or equivalent) experience
Microsoft software experience - Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
Able to travel occasionally
Flexible hours to attend promotional events, including some weekends
Good organizational and time management skills.
*Second language is a plus
