ResponsibilitiesYou will commit to lead by creating and cultivating a culture of excellence. You are responsible for maintaining and “Owning” your assigned area of the restaurant. This area will change every 6 months to give you exposure to all aspects of the business.
You commit to reflect the positive, uplifting spirit of Chick-fil-A in all your work. You will represent us well by working hard with honesty and integrity. You may thrive more in certain areas than others, but you must be willing to learn everything so you can have a well-rounded grasp of the business.
You must be willing to work flexible shifts Monday thru Saturday. Average hours will be 35-45/week. You will often open or close the store. Part of mastering the business is rotating through different positions, both daytime and nighttime, so you have a chance to grow, improve, and “own” these areas.
Near the end of the two years, you will help recruit and train your replacement before you leave.
We will work with you during your last months to determine your next career step. Whether your goal is to move up to corporate, to become a Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator, or to grow in a different direction, we want to support your next steps.
Having put in two years and mastered every aspect of running a successful 6 million dollar business renowned for its customer service, brand recognition and sales growth, you will be a competitive candidate in various fields! We want to support you to reach your goals. You may wish to stay at our restaurant after two years. We can discuss your individual goals throughout your two year fast-track and help you meet them.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate is a quick-learner, a problem solver who is able to think both practically (short-term) and at the same time zoom out and clearly see the big picture (long-term). We’re looking for someone willing to take risks to grow the business.
He or she is comfortable getting their hands dirty, pitching it to help in a food service setting, and leading others through fun (morale-boosting ideas) and discipline (ensuring team members are following protocols and fostering the good culture).
This ideal candidate is ambitious, competitive, results-driven and is willing to learn all aspects of running and marketing a successful local business that is part of a nationally recognized brand.
No food service experience required. The only requirement is a willingness to learn, and the ability to be a high performing leader who is teachable and energetic.
