DescriptionWe are looking for interns to potentially fill positions such as Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, Night Chef, etc. Our restaurant concept is currently in the food focus phase of our research and development stage of our company launch. We are preparing for our investors dinners to be held in June so we are looking to fill the positions immediately. We are searching for interns passionate about cooking, with the standards of Chef Ramsey, who can make food look like art on a plate. The paid opportunities will be presented to those we feel are best suited for our company and who may be best matched for the aforementioned positions.
ResponsibilitiesMajor responsibilites will include meetings with the owners to select and finalize menu items; Preparing the menu items for food focus groups (usually 8-15 people MAX); Giving and receiving feedback for ways to improve the product and brand; Cost-effective strategies for product purchasing; vendor relations; preparing final menu for investor dinners (usually 50-100 MAX) with a team of cooks; leading and instructing your team during dinners (task delegation); and reporting any beneficial opportunities/referrals from your network.
RequirementsIn exchange for the "non-paid" intern projects, we are willing to sign off on your credit hours needed for graduation. Our company is a federally registered business of the Secretary of State and with the State of Georgia. This project is strictly for those in the field of culinary arts with a desire to lead a kitchen team through innovative concepts in hospitality.
