We’re The Kings Beer Hall (The KBH), an international beer hall in Park Slope, Brooklyn. We proudly serve over 30 beers on tap, offer a full kitchen, and are a family friendly space. We do things differently here and are looking for a motivated individual (maybe you?) who shares our core values and is interested in being an integral member of our team.
Are you a strong writer that likes creative projects? Are you interested in building a varied portfolio? Intrigued by the hospitality industry? Whatever it is, we’re looking to provide you with hands-on experience to prepare you for a full-time job down the road in whatever industry you end up in. Sound good?
Here’s a brief summary of what we’re offering:
Learn a variety of online/offline marketing and content-building skills through training and implementation
Design and execute a marketing plan/brand strategy both online and IRL.
Apply text book and classroom education to real world situations.
Obtain resume-building experience with an opportunity to receive a positive reference from management
Compensation – class credit + monthly stipend.

General content - assist management with marketing strategy and implementation.
Email marketing – work on email newsletters as well as data collection systems.
Search engine optimization – develop search engine-friendly content and strategies to generate organic traffic to our website.
Social media marketing – manage content publishing and marketing initiatives on our social media pages
Light web design – working with our web team, updating content/images/graphics.
Ok, now let’s cover the logistics. We work out of the bar and everyone is expected to manage their time appropriately. While you will have various meetings throughout the week with management, you are expected to send regular email updates about project progress. Many times, you will be asked to work remotely, which requires more frequent updates and meticulously tracking your time.
Here’s a quick rundown of what is expected:
10-15+ hours / week (flexible, but structured)
