In partnership with our HR business partners and service provider we deliver solutions that meet the requirements of our key clients - JP Morgan employees. HRT provides technology support for staffing and on-boarding, employee records, payroll, talent management, compensation, benefits, learning, employee and manager service, workforce planning and analytics, and back office and call center operations. Corporate Technology delivers timely solutions using the most effective design and implementation tools, including Service Oriented Architecture, Business Process Management, Data Warehousing, best in class software packages, and custom application solutions in order to continuously improve business processes while taking an outside-in, customer-centric perspective. The Business Analyst position will require the candidate to act as a liaison between HR business and Technology. You will work with HR business partners and analysts to capture requirements, define scope, create detailed specifications and coordinate user acceptance testing for technology requests. The BA works with Technology to ensure that specifications are understood by developers, identify impact across other business processes and downstream flows, ensure that technical design meets business requirements, develop and execute test scripts and to complete required documentation. Core responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans.
- Identify, assess, and document business requirements and advise business on options.
- Develop use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to technology team.
- Ensure that requirements documentation is accurately translated into relevant test plans and test cases, and ensure that test results correspond with expectations.
- Contribute a business/process perspective during design reviews and throughout entire project lifecycle to ensure that deliverables meet business needs.
- Analyze impact of proposed solutions across the portfolio.
