ResponsibilitiesYOS is seeking a master’s level student currently enrolled in a Human Resources program or similar filed of study to assist with projects related to recruiting, onboarding, training administration, daily HR operations, compliance, and benefits admnistration. The candidate will gain an understanding of the different facets of human resources through their participation in a variety of projects.
? Provide ad-hoc duties to support HR departmental goals
? Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation in a highly confidential manner
? Maintenance of all personnel files
? Data entry in our HRIS and related HR systems
? Support the recruitment efforts for YOS’ hires; Schedule interviews and maintain correspondence with potential candidates
? Work with department to maintain social media outlets for recruiting
Learning & Development:
? Assist with the scheduling and coordinating training sessions; Coordinate materials for training sessions
? Research facilitators
? Update calendars for staff of required documents for submission to HR
? Track compliance documents; Enter compliance data into the HRIS
? Assist in balancing biweekly, monthly and quarterly benefits invoices; Assist in uploading payroll reports
? Assist in paying monthly invoices
RequirementsThe intern must commit to a minimum requirement of 15 hours per week. This is an unpaid internship; however this position may be eligible for academic credits. We will be happy to work with your college or university to make necessary accommodations. The internship will take place at the YOS administrative office at 2411 W. Congress Pkwy, Chicago, conveniently located off the blue line and 290 expressway.

• Ability to work independently.
• Strong Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and can utilize Windows operating system
• Command of internet (can easily navigate websites and search engines)
