We are seeking students who have an interest in the business side of healthcare to influence the direction of our company and gain first hand business knowledge. This internship is perfect for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit to see firsthand what it takes to launch, grow, and succeed as the company continues to expand and grow into new territories. The intern will learn the essentials of many areas in our company, including Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Management, Accounting, Public Relations, Recruiting, and Quality Assurance.
This opportunity is available at our Oxnard office.
Responsibilities• Recruitment of external staff through various sources such as the internet, referrals, nursing schools presentations etc.
• Assist in the hiring process (interviews, background checks, reference checks etc.)
• Manage healthcare professionals and place them on assignments
• Provide customer service issues and ensure the highest quality of care is always provided
• Assist in community events (past events include the MS Walk, Red Cross Blood Drives, and Toy Drives
• General office operations
